"Altered States: Hypnosis Goes Mainstream. Major hospitals use trances for fractures, cancer, burns, speedy surgery recoveries... According to studies, patients hypnotized before surgery required less pain medication, sustained fewer complications and left the hospital faster than a similar group not given hypnosis."
The Wall Street Journal - October 7, 2003

American Medical Association Approves!

The AMA has approved the use of hypnosis since 1957. Patients who are relaxed before, during, and after surgery heal faster and have fewer complications. Any medical procedure can be made less stressful with help from a qualified hypnotherapist.

Pre-Operative Stress

Benefit immediately! You can learn to let go of fear and reduce or eliminate stress quickly, so that you can focus all of your energy on healing. Patients are taught multiple techniques for relaxation as well as how to do self-hypnosis on their own. Individualized tapes are available for practice at home or to take into the hospital or doctor's office.

Post-Operative Recovery

Your body will heal much faster when you use hypnosis during the post-op period. Patients are taught specific techniques and imagery for each different surgery or procedure. This accelerates the healing process and reduces post-op complications and stress.

Stressed by Going to the Dentist's Office?

Even routine visits to the dentist can lead to stress or pain. Hypnosis works well for dental procedures, from routine cleanings and fillings, through complex oral surgery. People who suffer from great stress and those with sensitive teeth, chronic gum disease, or complications from TMJ can benefit from hypnosis.
